We recently had the opportunity to attend the Top Leadership Conference in Arizona. Not only did we have an incredible time, but we had the chance to network with other top performing leaders in the industry and gain invaluable insight and knowledge that we were able to bring back and share with our team here at Spring Strategies.
We are really excited about the topics that were covered at this year’s conference. We discussed what it means to have an entrepreneurial mindset and how the success of one’s business is determined by that mindset. Having an entrepreneurial mindset means being drawn to new opportunities and being innovative and creative. It means being capable of taking calculated risks while being able to accept responsibility and repercussions. It means having a thick skin and being able to learn from failure. Having an entrepreneurial mindset means being able to self-motivate and stay hungry for success no matter what obstacles step into your path.
We also talked about the importance of implementing work habits in order to ensure our professional success. Daily habits lay out the groundwork and stepping stones for our success both in business and in life.
We were eager to receive updates on our new technology launch, and were thrilled to hear that there has been an 80-100% productivity increase since the system has been implemented in our offices! We will be partnering with a new company in 2017 to further increase our productivity using better systems and more advanced technology. As excited as we are about all of the advancements in technology, we discussed the importance of keeping hold of our craftsman skills as technology continues to advance and the steps we can take to prevent ourselves from losing these skills while still taking advantage of the conveniences of modern-day technologies.
Another very important and interesting subject that we covered is work-life harmony. We discussed that work life and home life do not always need to be in balance, but that they should instead flow harmoniously. We should not have to fight to balance both aspects of our lives; they should coexist smoothly. Sometimes, work will occupy more time than our personal lives and vice versa. We should not demand a balance- we should strive for a harmonious flow.
Of course, we discussed our goals and our plans to finish strong for 2016 as well as our big plans for 2017. We will be setting daily, weekly, quarterly and yearly goals with measurable action items to be sure we have an even more successful 2017!
We are truly grateful for the opportunity to network and exchange such a wealth of knowledge with all of the top performers in the industry. After soaking up as much useful information as we could, we headed out to explore the exciting city of Scottsdale on a party bus! It can’t be all work and no play!
We are proud of all that our team at Spring Strategies has accomplished this year and we can’t wait to see what 2017 has to offer!
